Green on the Gunflint Trail

Once nice thing about all of the rain we have received is that it has made everything on the Gunflint Trail turn green.  The leaves on the trees are filling out and there are even marsh marigolds blooming.  As soon as we get a little warmer weather and some sunshine we can expect to see many more of our spring wildflowers.  It’s always a beautiful thing to see the roadside change color on an almost weekly basis;  white with daisies, purple with lupines, yellow, orange or a combination of all.  The Trail not only looks wonderful but smells great too.  For those of you who are curious about our sunrise and sunset I found this information on weatherforyou.com.
