Four Moose

      On the way home from Grand Marais last night Mike and Abby spotted four moose.  That is the most moose we have seen in one drive home this year.  Our record was several years ago when we saw 13 moose during one drive home. 

     Sometimes the moose are bunched up and other times they are all alone.  You can usually see their tracks in the fresh fallen snow and know when you’re going to see one.  Sometimes they appear right next to your car door without any prior notice. 

     I’m guessing we’ll break this year’s record but I’m doubting we’ll break the all time record of 13 moose spotted in one trip home.
