The temperatures have been hot at the end of the Gunflint Trail. It’s a welcome change to the cooler temperatures we’ve experienced so far this paddling season. Taking a dip in the cool lake makes the 80 degree weather much more bearable.
I think summer has finally begun. If you haven’t started planning for your Boundary Waters canoe trip then it’s time to do so now. Before you know it the 4th of July will have come and gone and we’d hate for you not to get a BWCA trip in this summer.
If you want to escape the heat of the city then there’s no better place to escape to than the BWCA. Call us to play your trip, we’d love to see you on the Gunflint Trail.
