Double Digits

We made it to double digits today, for a couple of hours at least.  We started out in double digits this morning at -28 degrees and made it all of the way up to 10 degrees above zero.  It was a cold morning and it’s suppose to be just as cold tomorrow morning.

I’m fine with it being this cold so we keep good snow for Mush for a Cure.  Last year’s conditions weren’t good enough to have the mushers run their dogs but we still had a great time.  This year’s Mush for a Cure is going to be just as much fun beginning with The Pink Masquerade Party on Friday, March 11th.

Everyone is talking about buying masks and what they are going to wear for the Pink Masquerade Party. I can’t decide on a mask so I keep ordering more!  There will be a few masks to purchase at the event in addition to alot of other new pink gear.  Decorations have been purchased, the Trail’s End Band will be playing and Andrea Peterson will be cutting hair for a Cure.

I’ll be content with the cold up until Mush for a Cure.  If the snow conditions stay as good as they are now for cross-country skiing and snowmobiling then I’ll be content even longer.
