Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center Opening Soon

Saturday, May 28th Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center will open their doors for the 2011 Summer Season.  It will be the first full summer the museum will be open after opening last year on the 4th of July for the first time.

If you haven’t visitedChik-Wauk then you must put it on your list of things to do.  Even if you have visited you surely want to return.  It’s impossible to see all there is to see and do all there is to do in just one visit.  There are trails to hike, books to read, films to watch and tons of great information to be found inside of the museum.  You can visit the museum from 10am-5pm every day of the week through October.

Beginning June 23rd there will be presentations/nature hikes provided by the US Forest Service on Thursdays and Sundays.  If you’re in the area and want to go for a boat ride or take a canoe or kayak into the BWCA then feel free to give us a call.  We can set you up for an hour or a day so you can get out and explore the Boundary Waters.

We hope you will visit the Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center on the Gunflint Trail, we know you’ll love it.
