BIG news on the Gunflint Trail

Have you heard the latest and greatest news on the Gunlint Trail? Yes, the huge Minnesota State record walleye is coming back to Saganaga and will have a new home at Chik-Wauk Museum and Nature Center but that isn’t the news we are talking about.

This news is twice as nice and double the fun! Cassidy and Matt, managers at Voyageur Canoe Outfitters are expecting twins this October! We couldn’t be happier for the couple who will raise their babies at the end of the Gunflint Trail, following in our footsteps I may add:)

Folks have been asking us what they need in order to make the babies comfortable upon their arrival. Matt and Cassidy do have a baby registry you can look at online if you’d like to get them something. It’s going to be quite the adventure for them and we are so excited to be a part of it.
