Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon Postponed
The 25th running of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon was supposed to start on Sunday, January 28th, 2007. On the 18th of January it was decided there was not sufficient snow coverage along the race route so the race has been postponed until February 25th.
This means there is still plenty of time for you to adopt a dog from our friends at Black Magic Kennels. Remember, this is a great way to be a part of an amazing race and help in the fight against breast cancer. Mark and Mary would love to have all of their dogs adopted before the race so be sure to contact them if you are interested.
There are many opportunities available to help out during the Beargrease. Volunteers are needed at road crossings, check points and for various other tasks. If you don’t have other plans then join in the excitement of the 25th running of the Beargrease and be a part of this awesome event.
