A Cat and a Dog on a Hike

It was a beautiful day today with sunshine and temperature in the 50’s. It was a great day for a hike in Grand Marais.  Relatives of various ages and abilities were in town so we decided to just hike Sweetheart’s Bluff in the Grand Marais Rec Park.  Once at the top there’s a gorgeous view of Grand Marais, the big lake and the Harbor.

Also accompanying us on the hike were two four-legged friends; my dog Rugby and our cat Storm. Storm’s a good little hiker with her harness on as long as it’s a narrow trail. And when she gets tired, she’ll happily ride along on a shoulder.
