And They’re Off into the Canoe Country Wilderness

The first paddlers of the 2015 season have ventured into and returned from their trips into the canoe country wilderness with Voyageur Canoe Outfitters.  Reports of peace and quiet, wildlife sightings and very few people are what make paddling in the early season so appealing.  This week’s temperatures don’t look quite as nice as the past couple of weeks but the chance to catch lake trout in shallow water and have a lake all to oneself still sounds amazing.  I’d love a trip into the Boundary Waters or Quetico Park right about now, how about you?
