The Best BWCA Route

I get asked what the best route in the BWCA is numerous times in a year.  Of course my answer is usually, it all depends upon what you want to do and see.  There are so many route options to choose from, some with long portages, some with short.  Some with great fishing others with none.  Some with deep lakes others with shallow.  It really just depends upon what you like and what you feel like doing for your trip.  Sometimes I like to travel each day and other times I am content to just sit.  You can always call us to talk about routes here at Voyageur or you can try our Route Finder.  This program asks you a few questions and then picks out a few different route options that you can check out online.  It's a great way to get an idea about what type of trip may be best for you and it even shows a map of the area.  Go online and check it out today.

I am looking for a lake with good fishing, small, and very little traffic. I'm taking a 30 day sabbatical. I am willing to travel far and wide to achieve serious solitude. Any tips or insights are greatly appreciated.
