It’s Time

     Technically it is past time but I’ve been putting it off.  Or not putting it on, whatever way you want to say it.  I’ve been putting off putting on my long johns and it’s time.

     November was actually quite pleasant with the exception of a few days of single digit temperatures.  A few days of taking a walk without long johns on is all it takes.  By the time I reached my half-way point of my walk I could no longer feel my thighs.  By the time I reached my car my toes were also frozen. 

     I guess it’s time to get the boots out of storage and pull the long johns on; winter is here on the Gunflint Trail.
