Snowmobile Kick-Off in Cook County
Some folks already have their snowmobiles out and a ride under their belt. Other folks are getting their sleds in working order as quickly as possible in anticiption of their first ride. The kids are currently taking their Snowmobile Safety Course online and will have their "driver's" test on December 8th. While some trails may be cleared all of the swamp and lake crossings are not quite safe yet. The groomers will no doubt be out as soon as conditions are safe. Until then you can celebrate the start of the snowmobile season with the Cook County Ridge Riders Kick-Off Party on December 1st, 2013. Once the snowmobiling starts you can give us a call for a place to stay at the end of the Gunflint Trail.
