Mush Moments
It's been over a week since Mush for a Cure ended and most of the follow up work has been completed. The pink decorations and clothing have been put away for another year. It was another incredible event that will have raised over $30,000 for the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Mushers came from all over to participate in the event including Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Louisiana, Minnesota, Washington, Idaho, Illinois, Wisconsin and North Dakota. They are an amazing group of people with a great bunch of dogs. It's so fun to meet the mushers and their dogs, all with their own personalities, the mushers too.
This year we had a big group of mushers with samoyeds. Some of you may remember we used to have two big dogs at Voyageur. Ambri and Jasper were half samoyed and half husky so I have a special place in my heart for them.
I thought I would share a few photos of these beautiful animals, I hope you enjoy them.
