And Liquid Once Again
The river is liquid once again and it looks like it will remain that way until after Thanksgiving. The forecast calls for daytime temperatures up into the 40's and lows only down into the 30's. After Thanksgiving the forecast shows colder temperatures with highs in the 20's and lows into the single digits. Until then the creeks will be running again I bet.
This is the last day of the regular deer hunting season on the Gunflint Trail. What a gorgeous day to be outside in the woods. It's been pefect for hunting and hiking this fall with trails dry and clear. We've had such a mild fall and the forecast makes me wish I could go out and paddle the next couple of nights.Unfortunately the kids are busy with school and sports.
Josh had his first hockey game yesterday and Abby is playing basketball. Another season of life at Voyageur begins.
